STEEL-IT 5904B High Temp & Corrosion-Resistant Aerosol – Stainless Steel Silicone Coating to 537 °C

STEEL-IT 5904B High Temp & Corrosion-Resistant Aerosol is a single-component, pigmented silicone finish containing 316L stainless steel. It is made for surfaces that run hotter than 204 °C (400 °F), withstanding constant temperatures up to 537 °C (1,000 °F) with spikes to 649 °C (1,200 °F).

• For high-temperature steel surfaces above 204 °C (400 °F)
• Self-priming – bonds directly to bare steel
• Continuous rating 537 °C (1,000 °F); spikes to 649 °C (1,200 °F)
• Grey finish that turns a reddish-chocolate brown from about 316 °C (600 °F)

Curing: Good surface preparation is essential. Bake for 60 minutes at 204 °C (400 °F) for best hardness and durability, or let it cure in service if the part reaches 204 °C for at least 1 hour.
